What is the difference between counselling and coaching?
Coaching is a process to formulate a plan to help a client reach a certain goal. Though some aspects of their past and beliefs may be looked at, it is not a replacement for qualified mental health intervention.
Counselling is specifically targeted at recognising and finding treatments for a mental health problem or issue.
The client's welfare and needs must always come first, so If I believe that a client needs specialist therapy of any sort, I will recommend that they access a suitable therapy designed for their specific needs.

Grief comes in many guises and has no time limits. This coaching will assist you in coming to terms with the grief, accepting it, but enabling you to move on despite it. Moving forward, you can work towards putting your emotions into something that is positive and progressive for yourself. You will create a future that is manageable, survivable and fulfilling.
How will coaching improve the feelings of trauma from the abuse that I have suffered?
The past can't be taken away or erased. You can, however, develop a life along side it. You will find the 'real you' as an individual and worthy person. Working together we can develop opportunities to discover a route in life free from the confines of trauma and find the life that you envisage, desire and deserve.
